Trent Compassion: Serving the People of Nottingham

Trent Compassion is a charity dedicated to serving and supporting the people of Nottingham by collaborating with a diverse range of organisations across thecity. Their services include:

·       The Arches

The Arches works closely with various organisations such as support workers, health visitors, housing providers, and voluntary organisations to offer a wide range of support. They assist those moving into empty properties or who are sleeping on floors, ensuring everyone has a place to call home. This includes supplying furniture, white goods, baby clothes, and household items to those in need.

·       Hope Into Action Housing

Trent Compassion partners with Hope Into Action UK to supply and maintain 10 homes for a wide range of individuals including those who are homeless, in recovery from addiction, sleeping rough, fleeing domestic violence, coming out of rehab, former prostitutes, refugees, those suffering from mental health issues, and survivors of human trafficking.

·       Step Forward Money Advice: Empowering Financial Stability

Part of Trent Compassion, Step Forward Money Advice is a free and friendly confidential service offering debt and budgeting advice. Our goal is to empower individuals to take control of their financial situations by providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve financial stability.

·       Step Forward Employability: Bridging the Gap to Employment

Step Forward Employability, another vital initiative under Trent Compassion, supports individuals coming out of prison or in recovery. Through workshops, mentoring, and volunteering opportunities, we help them gain the skills and confidence needed to enter training or secure employment.
