The road has been long and difficult! COVID 19 has left everyone feeling they have gone through 12 rounds with *insert your favourite boxer here* and Trent Conferencing Centre is no different. We went from a booming business that financially supported Trent Vineyard church and its social action projects to being forced to close shop. Like so many others we have navigated the challenge of revenue disappearing overnight and the need to make customers feel as safe and welcome as possible. The future was indeed looking dim but the tide is starting to turn. We have found that there is light at the end of the tunnel and our customers have clearly seen it too. Confidence in the conferencing and events market is re-growing. We are seeing the demand for our spaces increase every week and have recently watched the lead time on bookings shift from a few days, to a few months, to over a year in advance.

It appears that no matter what community you are part of, be it business, church or charity, we have all experienced the pain of being dis-connected. Fortunately, that pain has not been born in vain as it has given us all an increased understanding that creating a healthy, thriving community is the foundation for success in our organisations.
